The 26th Miss North Cyprus Beauty Pageant is being held tonight and for the first time in its history it is being held in the capital Lefkosa.

The event will be broadcast live on Bayrak Haber channel.

The 15 hopefuls will be competing to wear the crown at the 26th Miss North Cyprus Beauty Pageant tonight.

Golden Tulip Hotel in the Capital Lefkosa is housing the event.

Beauties who become finalists will receive a variety of presents and the winner of this year’s competition will be representing the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus during international competitions.

The event will be broadcast live on Bayrak Haber as of 9.45pm.

Meanwhile the contestants of the Miss North Cyprus 2012 Beauty Pageant have paid visits to state and government officials and Bayrak Radio Television Corporation.
