The leader of the Rebirth Party Erhan Arıklı made an evaluation regarding the Cyprus issue to the TAK news agency and expressed his belief that the Cyprus issue and the negotiation process will be shelved in the near future.
Stating that he believed that the United Nations will declare its final game on the Cyprus issue and will announce that it will not take on a new initiative on the Cyprus issue, Mr. Arıklı expressed his view that the Cyprus issue and the negotiations process will be shelved for a very long time.
“Currently there are 35 MP’s in parliament that have clarified their view on the issue of a federation.
The majority of MP’s are calling for new alternatives to be created. The new president to be elected, by gathering the support of these parliamentarians will be able to discuss and prepare new objectives and aims together with Turkey. We call this Plan B. Plan B will be implemented” said Arıklı.
